In this report for Ownership Works, we analyzed productivity in firms where employees own part of the company in order to measure the effectiveness of incentive structures. We created a microeconomic model that provides a theoretical foundation for determining how much incentive is provided by employee ownership. We also analyzed Gallup survey data of firms before and after employee ownership was implemented in order to provide data collection recommendations and metrics to Ownership Works.
